Posted this a while back, deterimened it to be a watch fob,did some research and found nothing. Even tried good ole ebay at about 4000,nothing close. No writing on front or back.Looks to be copper.Would like to find what era this came from.Maybe someone can give some research leads,Thanks to all and HH!!

Judging by the photos, one would have to estimate 1940's
Hi Mike :icon_thumleft:
I might have seen the earlier post :icon_scratch: but regardless, the ships and the plane look pre WWI, so, turn of 20th Century, IMHO

I'm thinking 1911.
French pilot, (I believe), maybe the flying over the English Channel guy?
I dug a similar one, plane at least.
Great find.

I think that's a type of plane that was launched via a catapult from a ship's deck, more of a glider I believe.

Great find.

I think your plane is a taube. I recently read that they could be considered the original stealth fighter; obviously having a lower profile than biplanes, harder to spot in the sky.

It might be part of a medal that had a ribbon at one time instead of a watch fob.
