Water detector web site very low price

I saw a water detector new for $199.00......web site....onemetaldetector.com...........

Looks to be manufactured by the same people who manufacture the Viper sold on Kellyco. The Viper sells for about 350 but states on Kellyco web site that the Viper goes about 130 ft in depth. I believe that these are Chinese made machines. Not sure about a warranty on them.

My gut feeling is that you would be throwing away money but I have never used one or seen one. There is a reason you don't see the top beach hunters here on TNet using one or anyone posting here using one. I believe that if they were a viable alternative, someone here would have used one and would have been bragging about them.

I would warn to stay away. I believe you would regret spending good money on one.

I am with DaChief on this one. You generally get what you pay for. These cheap detectors sellers pray on the uninformed that buy thinking they are getting a good deal aby saving lots of money. Is it saving money when the new detector can't find a garbage can under a sheet of newspaper?

My MD cannot find my gargage can under newspaper.
It does find too many hair pins, paper clips and pop tops.
Darn Chinese piece of junk. Wonder who engineered it?
