Almost like yesterday, a very long time between signals in the water. I found a dime & two pennies.

And a sterling silver ring = UGLY THING IT IS, appears to be old, weighs 3.87 grams. It had been re-sized.

Is that Irma heading your way? Stay safe down there my friend! Good gracious, Cat 5. Pray for the innocent!

Yes sir.....Its a real bummer. Trying to get everthing done. Man its hot out there. 90 degrees with 90% humidity. Work for an hour and then cool off in the ac with treasurenet. Still got a lot to deal with !!

Not that my prayers are worth their weight in rat manure, but you've one from me. You have a busy and hurtful time to face. May you come through untouched.

water season is never over if you live in Fla. like me

Well done sir! A silver ring is always nice to find.

Best of luck to you!

She is Silver and that's all that counts! Hopefully Indian summer will kick in for you guys and you can get in a few more hunts.

Well, I think someone's been coming in here and searching these places out!

You would be finding a few holes or soft spots if they were, and just guessing but I bet they last for at least a year there with very little water movement. That's if you have sandy bottoms...

That someone is us.......

We have 12 swim holes we hit regularly, and it is time we expand our reach!!!

The hobby is getting a lot more aggressive, just experienced this during our usual Michigan run, i.e., "if it's accessible it's being routinely hunted these days." So we'll be going up again but with a different plan of attack. :icon_thumleft:
