Wax seal frame and more

I just posted in the what is it section, but the more I look at this I feel pretty confident it is a seal frame.
Tried 5 spots today and ended up with a few things.
My last spot I dug the flat button and the brass matrix.
It looks like it had been smashed and the seal is missing.
i have never dug a complete one.
I have a nice intaglio stone that I believe came off of one from another site.
My buddy dug a nice one several years ago, but this one is a bit more decorative.
The site has produced 1720’s French and US war of 1812 relics, but I haven’t found anything there in a long time. I am curious if anyone can date it.

I actually think / would say a little earlier... mid 1700's... but who really knows for "styles" continued on.... so you may be correct.

Similar styles exist from this period.... Note the tops.

This location like others here had finds from the early 18th century, and then its goes quiet until the 1800’s.
The colonists abandoned this area for New Orleans, about mid 1720’s.
I did find several 1812 era pewter script I buttons and other relics for that time period, as well as some mid 19th century coins.
There was about a 80 year gap in datable finds.
I don’t hunt here much anymore, because most times I come up empty handed.
Yesterday was a nice surprise.
I assume it would be hard to put a exact date on the seal, but due to datable finds and our areas history, I cannot help to think it is very early or very late Georgian. (1717-1834).

I'm basing my best guess on a silver hallmarked example I found from 1790s, it had a very similar style.
If I remember I'll check my Seal Book later.

Im on the fence whether to group it into my French Louisiana era finds, or into my territorial Mississippi collection.

It's not a perfect match but the closest I could find in my book is 1750-1850.
