I do this Often With OLD coins. (Late 1700's , Early 1800's) and even got good prices from coin dealers, after .? Even Tho I told them I dug em & did this, they paid me Average Buying Price.
And Never said anything bad.

? As far as I know, all it does is Treat the Metal.

I do Prefer the GENERIC Brands tho. " CHEAPER "

? ? ? ? "CONSERVATOR" ?

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Your Thoughts ?

It never works on Silver Tho, But It dosn't need to.

I found what looks like a steel button on beach in front of one of the 1715 sites. I used electrolysis for 2 days. Can I use WD-40 on this ferrous artifact now to preserve?

If you apply wd-40 to an iron artifact, would that mean its "cleaned" and reduce its value or w/e...Also what about crisco on iron stuff?

? cypresshunter.

To Be Honest I Still Do, & will Continue to Do it On OLDER Copper Coins.

As I said, It Hasn't Decreased Their Value For Me.
