I clean out homes that are sold, the owner takes what they want and hire us to throw away every thing that is left, you wouldn't believe what they throw away, they don't look threw everything, they want the house sold, last week, table saw, rotor tiller, tools also pic up about 20 bucks in quarters when we clean, and we clean well

Well you can always just post pictures in this forum for now. For a long time everyone posted thrift store finds in the garage sale finds forum, until it got a bit overwhelming and they finally separated the two. There is a guy who post things found in the "what is it" forum he says he picked up in house clean outs.

I love the saying: One person's garbage is another person's treasure"

We live in a use little/throw society it seems.
Listening pod cast program yesterday and it stated that the average Canadian buys between 60-70 clothing items a year-SAY WHAT! Take the zero's off those numbers. (Then again I put on no airs for folks)

Yes it would be cool to have a "Got for free" forum.

Well done on your salvaging/reuse scores from the clean outs.
