weary warrior book ends

when i was 7 years old i found these book end in the yard after a bad storm ripped the roof from the house.
from what i have been told they are called the weary warrior.
they are solid brass and super heavy. i have never seen another set like these.
any information would be great. thanks, Cletus

When I was a kid in the 70s my cousin had a small statue of the weary warrior. I quess it may have been a bookend. Looks like the spear was replaced with an allen wrench.

At the end of trail is the name. My youngest, now 35 had pictures of that poor tired Indian plastered all over his room. He has kids of his own now and we still have one on the wall in his old room...d2

I remember seeing, the old cowboy(I thought) on the horse, returning weary or wounded.
Try am image search (yahoo or google) also for "wounded warrior". I saw some of the Native pieces there.
They are really nice, btw!
