Weekends hunts , silver & rings # 104 , 105 , 106 & 107

Three hunts , 7 total hours and a whole lot of finds . Had a great weekend of hunting , found 4 rings . One is .925 silver with a heart , two are gold plated and one is a silver plated band.
Other silver finds are a bracelet that weighs 17 grams and a small silver star ear ring . 6 Foreign coins , game tokens , Boy Scout slide , S.B. Anthony and President dollars . One thing I found is a copper disc the size of a silver dollar and it looks like it says E B REDS . Anyone have any ideas on this one ? Total clad for the 7 hours is $31.28 !

On one of your threads you said you dug a +16 what VDI numbers do you look for?
I use a V3i and pass up these low numbers to my regret. I better dig more and stop looking for my favorite numbers.
Can you give us a little schooling on your technique?

My rings finds are up to 9 this year, 3 silvers, 1 gold, the rest junk, 3 out of the 5 junkers were mood rings :dontknow:

I dig all VDi number that have green bars in all 3 frequencies... the straighter all 3 are the better... but there are exceptions to that... depending on lots of different factors... but for just starting out with the V3i or V3x... that will get you a long ways... and yeah you will still dig pull tabs! unless you hunt in the coin only mode on the v3x then you'll miss small rings and jewelry

+16 VDI is the sweet spot for gold !!! I will dig +6 - + 45 for gold . You will dig a whole lot of trash but when you see that gold in the plug it is worth it :headbang:
