Weeks keepers buffalo nickel and war pin

Hello all I went hunting with my friend at our neighbors house built in1948 here's my keepers
1937 buffalo nickel







Two wheaties



World War I pin? The lady next door moved to the house in 1948 said that an older couple lived there before she came . Maybe the old man was in wwi also a WWII vet lived there in the 1950s whAt war do you think it's from? It was at 8"











The piece on the bak is threaded

I believe it's an Adjutant General Officers collar device. two piece construction with screw back should indicate WW2 era.
