EFFIGY OR WEIRD DIRT?



Ok people im sure at this point yall think im in denial about a few of the pieces i have found and i promise u its very possible i am...now this piece is def something man made by the native americans that occupied the land im hunting....its made from the same material as most the pottery sherds i find, sand stone or clay...i have found up to 200 pieces of designed pottery sherds, in all shapes, lips of bowls, bottom of plates, spouts, foot etc..so i know what a sherd of pottery looks like in my sleep, this piece is not a sherd of pottery, the edges are rounded and smooth...im assuming im missing some of this piece but not sure...now from the research i have done i have only found a few things and ill share them after some responses...thanks guys, shoot me some answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have plenty more pics i can send more...its probably 3 inches long and inch or so wide

The photos look a lot like the soap stone or steatite we find that has been made into boiling stones or soap stone bowls. does it have a slick surface?

I think it looks like a fossilized jawbone too. The 4th-6th pic's looks like a tooth in it.
I'm probably wrong, but, I see KingsKid1611 thinks so also.
