Hey folks, I just picked up 2 boxes of garda dimes and 1 box of garda quarters, both denominations are different then usual... the quarters are wrapped white and orange compared to the typical brown and orange...
and the dimes, the box color is a shade darker and so is the ink on the box, also the top of the box says between the holes:
"BEFORE OPENING
VISUALLY CHECK THAT ALL
50 ROLLS ARE THERE
BA"
and inside the box is even more different with some sort of seal on it that reads: 8/31/10 on one flap and on the other, a circle seal that says, " Complete Finishings, INC" Philadelphia, PA. and inside the circle:
Box certificate: this singlewall box meets all construction requirements of applicable freight classification...
and some info about the box i found interesting...
"Bursting test: 200 lbs per square inch
Min comb wt facings: 84 lbs per m sq ft
size limit: 75 inches
gross weight: 65 lbs"
i am assuming it is an old garda box from august 31st, 2010... hh
