Welcome back to halves - it's Ben a while!

After having numerous banks shut down my half dollar hunting in the last year, I got an order of two boxes of halves for the first time in months. I was just happy to hunt halves again, for what I assume will only be a couple weeks. I definitely wasn't expecting such great results - 17 bens, 9 90% kens, 7 40%.

Thanks vdubguy. Good to be back, at least temporarily. I can only hope they bring me more of these boxes every week until the impending "our regional manager said..." conversation. Once that hits, I may have to consider transitioning one of my coin counter bag destinations because I need more halves and less bags of cents.

Thanks badbluff. Nothing better than those silver edges glowing after you unwrap a roll. It was helped by the fact that some are in nicer condition - a few of the 90% kens and one real nice Ben that I think I'm going to put in a 2x2.

I gotta tell you, if you get hits like this doing it less frequently is not bad. It is those that only do it infrequently and still don't get anything but fire starters is what really stinks...Brad
