...I got out for a few hours this am at a central downtown riverfront beach.
I did not find much but some spare change, a couple of kids toys and small case; complete with crack pipe and container of crack.

YEAH! Just imagine how many hours straight I could detect; if I could only stand still and quit tweaking. A few decades back I found a tied little balloon with black tar heroin. I showed my landlord and suggested I could sell if for enough to upgrade my detector toys. Boy, did he freak out. When I am out detecting regularly here in the city (not much these days due to health issues), hardly a week would go by without finding another 'rig', 'crack pipe' or some other detritus of the drug addiction sector. I used to do some of this shit decades in the past; but decided 'growing up' was a better option for me.
