I married into the metal detecting experience! Had heard very little about metal detecting, except as a hobby for finding relics. On our first date, my future husband took me to a metal detecting event in Llano, Texas. I was intrigued. After we got married, my first gift from him was an equinox 900 and I now have the bug!
I am a retired science teacher, so I love all things nature-wise: rocks, fossils, arrowheads, seashells, bugs, wildflowers. Between us we have 7 children, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandkids and a ranch with cows and sheep so we stay busy. But not too busy to metal detect regularly!
