Well had to revert to the old stand by grove

Well the picnic grove had wanted to take the kiddies to was in use. So we reverted to the old standby......

The kiddies had a great time running around and not having to stay by the old man. They were using a prizm II that I had rented and me with the trusty XLT. We started out pretty good they hit three targets right out of the gates. we started pulling up clad and pulltabs but that did sway their enthusiasm.......They toiled on.

I was kind of hanging back and letting them run....They led the way and I must say they picked a good path. we had a great day and beat our record silver day. Here's what we found. (2) silver quarters (48 + 64), (2) silver dimes (52 + 62), an undated buffalo, a 1944P nickel, a wheat penny 1953, (5)boy scout items, an metal arrow head, (2) halves (72 +95), a bicentennial quarter, a friendship pin, an arrow (too big for picture) and 1.70 in clad.

So they picked the right path. We're going to hit the other grove next weekend weather permitting.
