Went back to the 50's 28 times!
Hi Everyone,
Well I just got done this morning watching my 14 year old son bowl his first 600 actual series this morning and also my 17 year old daughter and her Pom Pon squal qualify for states at the regionals in Saginaw. I am so proud of both my kids, so I was thinking to myself, what a great day, so I went out to get lunch at a Chinese Restaurant and I paid and had to wait. As I waited, I looked down at the change he had given me. Here in my hand was 3 - Wheat pennies. Immediately I thought someone has a roll of Wheaties. When my order came, I asked the gentleman that I needed some change and could he give me 25 pennies? He looked at me strange, but agreed. He handed to me and I drove off. I then opened my hand to see a handfull of Wheat backs. I had the biggest grin on my face. What a way to top off the day. I didn't want to ask for a roll of pennies because I wanted the ones in the drawer. I may not got all of them, but I got 28 of them. All of them date in the 50's. There are 2 - 1952D, 3 - 1957D, and 23 - 1956D. This makes up for all the yuck snow we are getting right now. I am thinking about getting some coin rolls just to search through them now. It will break up the winter blahs! Well I hope your staying warm. Go out and get some Chinese food and see whats in your change! LOL Have a good day!
