Man I’m liking this Maxx on the mid tones. Found 2 rings and another 1900 V-Nickel! I don’t know what’s going on with all the V-Nickels I’ve been finding lately and jewelry like I’ve never done back to back at different hunts. Either I got better, luckier or this Maxx is a great fit for me. IMG_1143.JPG

No TR the big one is stainless steal with fools gold on it. But I did find a 5.2 14k the other day. I Was never good at rings unless they were silver. The AT Maxx seems to have a different tone on the solid rings that my ear recognizes more then my ATP Which makes sense because it’s the ATP in the ATP Gold in one. So far I’m very pleased with it. It also has me killing the nickels.

Awesome scores Truth, you certainly dug your share of good targets. We might have to change your name to V-Nickel :tongue3: I've only dug 2 Vs in three years.

Loco I’ve dug more V nickels than Buffalos. I’m up to 9 this year from public parks. At City Park I’ve found 6 and never a Buffalo. The silver dime is my ultimate nemesis. When I’m detecting I swear that’s all I think about.

Good job. Whatever it is that's working don't change it! Are these areas that you previously hunted with the ATP or new ground?

Previous spots with my ATP and F75 LTD. To be fair I only have a year on my F75. I was always for comfortable with the Garrett. I have yet to dig anything deep yet. I really over this Maxx. I relate with tones better than the F75 and the Maxx seems to help me with gold unless all this is one big coincidence.

the dimes will come, just keep hammering like you are doing. it amazes me how one person is able to find numerous numbers of something while another struggles just to find one. you still have to swing over it to find it but with so many v nickles, does make you wonder. maybe someone has cherry picked the dimes and left the nickles
