Went to the lake (wow pultab's)

Went out to the lake this afternoon, this was my first time detecting at the lake and let me tell you there is a lot of pultabs out there. They definitely kept me busy. :protest:

been thinking about saving for a new detector something that will go deep and have a VDI readout...... ant suggestions would be appreciated ( I mean I love the 250 but i think i will be ready to upgrade in about 6 months...) :dontknow:

Got to dig it all if you want to find the rings... You go along digging pulltab after pulltab and then out pops a ring just when
you thought you were digging another pulltab. Keep at it. :icon_thumright:

As far as the VDI, since you're already familiar with the ACE, take a look at the AT Pro. It has VDI readout, multi tones, and is totally submersible up to 10'!

I hit a lake beach this summer that yielded 70 pull tabs and bottle caps, but no gold. Ugh!

looks to me like U have an Undetected Beach there..even the Big$ dectectors have trouble with Gold ring or pull tab..keep working it.

Great tab collection going there And some oldies!!!! Keep it up and Soon you will be Pulling up one of those golden ones Chug!!!

When you get the gold Share it with your wife let her enjoy it and then hit her up for the new detector!!!

Just for encouragement here is my best pull tab find that's what i thought i was going to dig up as that was all i was digging up

I think I will keep digging every thing that has a nice solid hit, I have found about 5 rings so far but they are all cheap rings, I love this hobbie because it is like a new adventure every time I go out.... And this site also makes it that much more exciting especially seeing all the diff finds... :read2:
