hope this is ok to post here, i know allot of us build our own equipment. so iam hope someone knows where i can buy some parts for my older 12in metal cutting craftsman lathe. its getting tried and i need to build more gold finding machines, thank you guys, brad
You didnt mention wood or metal lathe, but I'm assuming metal lathe. The craftsman lathe is most likely built by Atlas, eReplacementParts.com is a place to check, also MyMachineShop.net is a place to check for parts. What are you looking for specifically & I might be able to locate parts.

yes metal, not sure yet, wanted to find a source before i took it apart, thanks for the contacts.not sure when its coming apart yet, thank you brad

garagejournal.com forums are great for this stuff.. Quite a few people discussing, using, and restoring old craftsman atlas machines and all sorts of vintage tools and machines from vices to lathes and drill presses..

You would be amazed at how many obsolete and antique parts can be found both NOS and used on eBay. Its worth checking.

What is wrong with it? I have a Logan 815 - Love it!

update, i dove into to it, it had stripped treads on one of the spindle on a feed gear.cool i was able to get a nut on the back side, one of the feed gear needed a lot of adjustment and one of the belts had a piece missing ,fixed those things.so its back up running, but i still plan on restoring it later, thanks guys so much for all the help and infor. brad
