Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
This is my first post so be gentle with me, my first couple of hunts were a bust but perseverance always pays off, and I'm in it for the long haul. My third hunt was a long day of searching mutiple beaches on the other side of the island and finally netted me the small silver band. The fourth hunt was short and sweet, about an hour. I worked one of my favorite spots cause its closer and waited til the end of the day cause it was a minus tide. I worked the area in about 3-4ft of water and bang up comes my first 18k white gold weighing about 6grams. I then see that the reef is extra shallow so I venture out and within a minute I find the gold with twelve small diamonds, it is not marked but I figure it is 10k because of a little corrosion that cleaned off easily. I'm in hog heaven, a little more searching and then the hawaiian silver band. By that time it is getting dark so I knocked off and headed back to the barn.
I am happy to start my new year with these finds. Thanks for reading IMG_0028.webpIMG_0027.webp

That's a HELLEVA start! Welcome aboard! :occasion14: :occasion14:

nice rings kim, was there lots of YEEHAWS when you saw it in the scoop?

I was pretty stoked, all last year only one small 18k and that was found in December, so to find a nice 18k was great way to start and then the diamond ring right after was icing on the cake. Yeehaw in my mind
