🔎 UNIDENTIFIED What animal did this tooth come from

What kind of animal did this tooth come from? Early to mid 1800s trash pit home site. I’ve found a hog tusk before but this doesn’t look like it.

Pretty sure it’s a rodent. So therefore I agree with beaver

I don’t think that’s a beaver tooth. They are orange and have a heavy curve. The orange color comes from iron. I obtained some beaver teeth and hafted them in a wood handle. They make good wood chisels and I’m sure the Indians used them for that purpose.
