What are these rocks?

Found these out in the woods was wondering if any one knew what they were and if they were meteorites or something like that,there was a crater where they were found any information or opinions would be helpfull thank you jeff, i live in connecticut

mystery solved these rocks are more than likely slag, and i agree, although this is acthually the first time ive seen or heard of slag they look farmiliar to slag, thanks for everyones feedback in helping me to identifiy these, jeff

There aren't roads close to where I've found this stuff.
Could a campfire be hot enough to create it? What about firing pottery?
