What are you getting

I wouldn't sell for under 93% melt value, that seems to be the competitive rate right now. I've considered selling to provident metals in the past and know people who have, so that might be something to look into.

They seem to be fetching $2.20 - $2.50 each on eBay, but that is before fees and shipping.

Back in August, I got $2.25 per 40%er at my coin shop. Sold $250 in face value. Paid for a 4-day trip to OCMD.

In late-September, I got $2.40 per 40%er from a private transaction I set up through Craigslist. Sold another $250 in face value. Paid to completely demo and remodel my bathroom, albeit I did the demo work myself.

In late-October, I got $2.00 per 40%er at my coin shop. Sold $300 in face value. Paid off two credit cards whose no-interest terms were about to expire.

Total cash received from selling the coins: $3,525. About $1000 more than I had invested in my ENTIRE silver stack, just from selling $800 in face value of 40%ers.

I just bought 400 x 40% for $875 shipped to me, $2.18 ea. But I am able to resell to a customer at $2.50 ea. shipped to them, so somewhere in that range (not eBay).

I've sold about 500 40%ers over this year. The lowest I got was $2.38 each and the highest was $3.00 each. Over half of them were sold at 2.85 - 3.00 each. Not getting rich, but paid for the rest of my metal detecting toys and a nice Samsung S2 Tablet for my wife for Xmas :>)...Brad
