I took my granddaughter's coin jar to the store this morning and dumped it into the Coinstar machine. There were a few rejects, one being this 2019 quarter (the one on the left in the photos). Compared to the quarter or the right It seems to be unusually worn or on the face, but pretty normal detail on the back. It is hard to photograph, but under a loup it doesn't appear to scratced up. My question is why (or what) it seems so worn?
