Thank you RJC This carriage is made from Phillipine mahogany... Did your brother make his? Is it bronze or Cast iron?

My brother only made the carriage, the 1 pounder cannon barrel its self if i remember correctly is a mid 1700s swivel cannon that was mounted on a frigate. He also managed to get the officers presentation cannon too (small scale cannon barrels mounted on blocks of wood that the ship was built with.) He did turnout a .45 caliber brass cannon barrel and built a field piece carriage for it. Even though small its pretty impressive.
