I was going to say Ford until I read this. http://reviews.ebay.com/There-was-NEVER-a-Ford-Auto-lite-Company_W0QQugidZ10000000004632777

Auto-lite was the trademark of the Electric Auto-lite Equipment Co. of Toledo. From the 1930's throught 1961 Auto-lite was a major supplier of automotive electrical equipment to companies like Chrysler, Packard, Nash, Studebaker, and Hudson..as well as a host of marine, industrial and truck builders.

In 1961 Ford decided to expand into the spark plug business and purchased the Electric Auto-lite Co. and changed the name to Autolite. Every catalog page from 1962 up I ever saw will say Autolite...a Division of Ford Motor Company.

My dad's first new car had mirrors like the first ones, a 1954 Ford. The second one with the double stalk looks like a Pontiac mirror. I'm just saying.... It's always ok if "you're just saying". Monty

I found one in a pile of old car mirrors at work today. The car was not attached so still not sure of the model.
