I'm learning how to manipulate the pics. So they look best on the forum.Thanks for you patience. I will probably get a little better each time. I hope ---- he he.
The bowl part is about -- well you can just fit a dime into it. I also hope Dave in Japan takes a look. Did you see the text? I am going to put up a pic of an old bottle I found in the same creek. Just to experiment. I cropped this one down. Hope it looks good and isn't too big.

Yes,
it is franklin and has date of 1845. getting better with the pics.
Was Franklin a bottle manufacture?

It may be Budda, it looks like one knee on each side and also definatly hands grasping the top sides. Who knows how to translate chinese?

Hi love, the ink is made up as you use it. You use an India ink stick and mix it with water as you need it for your writing brush.

Could be any number of medicines. Not where I can read labels right now. Not Lysol though.

It is a medicine bottle. Many different companies and medicines use the same bottle.

Thank you all for the feedback, it is wonderful. Nice collection dg and wonderful lysol bottle cypress. I can make out the bottom of the bottle it says "franklin products 1845"

The Japanese says something about a Dog.. Like a temple dog or maybe a good luck charm..Maybe I will check again tomorrow with other people.
