So it’s not worth buying? Unless it’s full silver

Depends how much the seller want for it and your expectations if you want to re-sell. But, as an investment piece, no.

I posted this because of the strange markings on the bottom of the piece.

I think red coat is correct

I can't interpret the marks on the bottom.

It’s properly known as a ‘Berrad’ and commonly made of silver-plated brass. Specifically, they’re designed for ritualistic preparation of Moroccan mint tea to be poured from a height into small glasses. The resultant foam, called "chaâcha", indicates a well-prepared tea.

Depending on the price. It also depends on the base metal. Possible resale, but highly likely it's a scrap entry.
Just bought 20 lbs of EP Copper $4.50 lb CAD.
There was a tea set in the box.
Feel pounds of EP Brass for $3.50 lb

Either sell it as yellow brass, or #2 copper.
The last year or so I have been saving it up to de-plate the items, for silver recovery.
There's still alot of preparation work, taking the lead mounts off. Or they could be zinc, tin, base metals, antimony mix.
The tea pot you posted has one of those type mounts.

I saw a video, where a guy took apart silver plate butter knife handles. With a dremel and plyers , the ep peeled off easily. Ever try that?

I've seen that one also and thought it's doing it the hard way.
The reason was to expose the inner properly that was closest to the filler. Also smaller the piece easier to process.

The fastest way was just hitting the handle with a hammer. Sometimes the filler falls right out, other times it's a set of pliers and tear it apart.
