I haven’t posted in a while, and finally took the time to pull out a bunch of “junk” that I have been throwing into a Tupperware container over the last six weeks or so. I hadn’t been posting since for the most part, this is not what I usually look for. This represents several hunts at a few old house sites, a coal mining ghost town, and a couple colonial fields. I already described my finding the 1827 Capped Bust dime last week in this post, but it is included in this catch up post as well.

Here is a group shot of my finds over the last six weeks or so.

Holy smokes, Steve--you've been hoarding! :-). Congrats on these great finds, and hope you enjoyed the time spent.

Holy moly dude-that's a dime quad fecta! plus a KG II and a II and all the other stuff. I like the valve stems too. :notworthy:

Thanks D & D. The Rosie was actually found a few weeks before the other three which were found last weekend or I would have called it a quad-fecta. Those other items are actually early tire pressure gauges, not to be confused with valve stems :)

That's a very nice bunch of finds congrats

Now that is some fantastic detecting! :occasion14: :skullflag:

ill say it again, the capped bust dime is luscious!!

Lots of great finds Steve. Love the coins. Lots of holes required to find that many goodies. We are dry as a bone here with critters still crawling. WTG, Q.

Wow, and a few V nickels to boot! Congratulations on some nice finds!

Beautiful finds, but that bust dime steals the show!

Quite an impressive array of relics and coins, Steve. That 1827 dime, however, is just stunning!! Thanks for sharing the review and the new pic............

Hi Gary, Actually this abandoned circa 1905 to 1920 coal town is just rows of foundations in the woods. Not many coins - I got an Indian head and my buddy got a Barber dime - only 2 coins between 4 of us, but lots of miner tags scattered all around. I might have found two together, but the rest were all found individually.

Thanks Quindy, we have been getting a fair amount of rain and the crops are starting come out of the fields. We're gonna have to try and get out as much as possible before the snow flies. I think it's gonna be a long cold winter & lots of snow.

Thanks Chizzy, those new pictures are the ones I sent to American Digger for their Just Dug section.

Wow, I didn't see any "junk" in those photos! Congratualtions on the very productive hunts! :occasion14:

Looks like you've been busy Steve. Congrats on pulling all those cool relics and the keeper coins. :occasion14: Digging that 1827 dime would have had me doing the happy dance for sure.

Some would kill to find your "randoms" pile lol
