Doesn’t look wrong to me, but that’s just me and my love for the ocean speaking.

She's a beauty! Start cleaning and polishing now. Oh, yeah, keep cleaning and polishing. When you finish up with that, start cleaning and polishing. Congrats.

I think we need to do some tuna fishin':icon_thumright:

That will drag a big ol' magnet.

Don't forget! In between the cleaning and polishing make sure you keep that hole filled up with money.

Seriously, like the lay out! should be cool to work out of!!!

What kind of engines does she have? Are you going to put blowers on?

Pete-

1970 Striker 44'... looks like krap, runs like a watch. Twin J&T 6-71 TI's, 450 a side, TD -507's turning 26x31's. 12K Lugger genset, sleeps 5-6, full head and shower, full galley. 125 GAL F/W, 700 GALs deisel.
dual vhf radios, loud hailer, flood/spot, 48 mile radar, a/p, CP and GPS, trims, and Dolby SS in the salon around a 50' tv with Blu-ray.

She burns 7 gph at 1000 rpm and 8 kts... 15 kts at 1600 and 26 gph...18 kts at 2000 and 33 gph.

No real corrosion, capac system onboard, all zincs good.
No money for blowers at this time...we will see.

Kurt

Good way to start out a new season!

Oh now that is sweet!!

Very nice, Curt! Best of luck with it.

To quote someone, not sure who, "A Boat is a Hole in the Water that you throw Money in."

But lots of fun! (I have two!)

Beautiful vessel. Love the layout. The 6-71s are proven. Clean oil goes a long way. I wouldn’t own a diesel boat unless it had DDs or Bseries.

Thats a good looking money pit right there. Looks fun and hope it works out well for what you wanted, congrats!

RED, do you still dowse ?
Yes, but I had to stop for a while because of man made Internet problems. There are no DSL or cable lines out here. We already had been hard to reach from the towers of our broadband service. Then a company out of state, from Ohio came in and bought them out. The new company from Ohio dumped our Internet down so bad, it got to the point where a 44 KB image just would not post online in a forum. I had to install one of those special types of range extender routers, best model with 4 antennas. Things are suddenly speedy again, even can play online videos... truly amazing device, more than worth it's weight in gold. Before it took me on a good day, 20-45 minutes to get my emails to show up in Yahoo mail. Then photos never would attach, failed every time.
