Silver peeking up at me!

I haven't had any finds to speak of for the past couple weeks so this was a nice surprise today. It's the second silver religious medallion I've found at this site, which is the front yard of an old 50's log cabin now owned by the parks department.

Unfortunately the chain it came with was not silver, and I suspect that the mold for this particular medallion was cheaply made because the edges on one side are somewhat rough, uneven, and there is no sterling or .925 mark.

That is definitely one of the nicest sights you can see when you dig up soil. No mistaking that white silver disc.

Too bad it wasn't silver but for what it is it's still a brilliant find. Hope it sheds good luck on you in future hunts :icon_sunny:

Even better is that you got the chain with it! ;D

Nice silver medallion! I am glad to see someone on treasurenet from Washington state has kept on hunting for silver!

I have found several religous medals similar that look silver but are not marked either, still a cool find
