What is it!

I found this stone walking around at work looking down at the bedrock, it has this little notches on all four sides, is it indigenous and if so, what would it have been used for.

I was going to say sinew stone, but after blowing pictures up I not see the wear you would see in the notches on a sinew stone.

Just a natural creek stone probably battered from tumbling and water flowing over it
