Yea paul there right its a piece to an old lantern. I would have know what it was if a didnt wimp out and take off early. I have dug alot of those, but none at the field. Nice one.
Next time its copper or silver though.

Hi there, I dug one of these last week and actually posted it yesterday..... if you look on the end of the little turn know there should be some information of manf' and perhaps a patent date!!!!

Look back through the strings from yesterday and you will see what I found!!!!
