What is this exactly? Knife?

My father found this in the 1980s. He was curious on the correct classification and what exactly it is? I apologize for the low quality pictures, but it’s all I have on hand. Thanks so much everyone.

It was found in Elbert, Georgia. Funny story, he told me he was just walking through his Uncle Drew’s garden and spotted this. Pretty decent find since he wasn’t even looking! Thanks for your reply.

Elberton, GA? I work in Elberton and live in Lincolnton on Clarks-Hill lake. I've found many arrow heads over the years. And know a few people that have found spear points etc. Never a knife.

I'd say it's a knife. Many knives are misidentified as spear points and arrowheads.

Yep. And almost all spear points were also used as knives.
