Thank you in advance. Im sure its nothing but I wanted to get opinions. As google comes up with a Spanish coin. I got this in a 2 pound bag of antique religious jewelry. Im assuming it was tossed because of what they thought was a cross on front. Interesting is has a number on back 292?

Im not an expert but looks like a fake spanish coin.Hope im wrong but maybe some of the experts will chime in

It's a cast copy of a Spanish gold cob on the cross side, not silver, could have been made for a jewelry piece, necklace, pendant, etc ... all Spanish cobs were hammer struck between dies, not cast as this item iscob2.webpcob1.webp
