Hello,
I see you all have great finds, Can you tell me what I have found,The wife and I went out last night to beat the heat,
? I got a great hit about 11 inches deep with my XLT and found this,,,Its silver and the size of a nickle. I though it might be a earing it has a little clip on the back and a spot that looks like were a clasp would go. What do you think. and how old,

It sorta looks like a silver button. Maybe from the 20's. Thats my guess because the car looks pretty old. HH

Could it be a tie clasp? A clip on tie clasp would be easy to lose. And it looks more like men's jewelry than women's.That's a nice find!

Post a picture of the back.

If it is a sharp pin it could be a lapel pin or tie tac.

If a T shaped kind of clasp, maybe a cuff link.

A car on it, I would doubt would be feminine enough to be an earing.

If it is an alligator kind of clasp than maybe a tie clip.

Could it have been a button cover? Meaning there would have been a set of probably 4 or 5 that would slip over a regular button to jazz up an outfit. I've seen a few that were popular with western ware and sold.?
