What is this rock?

Hi everyone, I was digging up my back yard and found quite a large rock (within a meter of digging) which looked a bit like a meteorite or some valuable rock like quartz. I'm really unsure, it doesn't have magnetic power but it has, what looks like 3 layers: a previous core, simple rock and then a layer with small crystals which looks like it was previously heated thus I assumed it could of been a meteorite. Can you tell?

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Gabriel! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). Looks to be a chert/flint nodule. Not a meteorite.
