What is this unique "chert" material?

Hey guys,
this arrowhead was recently found, and the material I have no clue on. Im sure someone out there knows what its called, and the material seems unique enough to find where in the USA the original source came from. That will give me an idea how far the prehistoric hunter traveled before losing this point.
Here are some pics
thanks
Chong

Remember they traded for material too.
My guess: obsidian? I've seen red, maybe there's brown too?

I found this web site which might be of help.

Check out the list by states. There is a type of chert found in Oklahoma called Peoria chert. It is described as having a red or rusty colored spider web inclusions. No picture though.
Are there any rock shops in your area. They should at least know if it is a local material.
I would classify that material as Jasper because of it's color.
Sure is a beautiful point.

Beautiful Clovis/Folsom bird point :hello2:

Haven't seen that particular brown with grey flint intrusion before.
You are right though, that should place it to a particular area.
