What kind of containers do you use??

The cheap clear plastic tubes that you can get at the coin shop aren't working for me. They are getting cracks and are breaking as they get moved around.The coin store near me doesn't have the square kind as found in monster boxes.
I have found that power bait plastic containers are stronger and hold more than 20 for the Rounds and silver dollar coins. I am looking for something to hold dimes, quarters and halfs any ideas??
What kind do you use?

I use the square coin tubes, order them off Wizard Coin Supply in boxes of 100.

Makes for orderly storage!

Depends on the coin.

Generic Cu-Ni foreign coins just go in a wooden box, same with low-grade semi-collectable US coins (rusty steel cents, and wheaties from the '50s).

My ancient/medieval stuff goes in paper envelopes since the coins are often too thin or too oddly shaped to fit in 2x2s (some like hammered silver pennies will slide out of the edges of 2x2s)

My generic silver and older US coins go in tubes. Clear for 90% halves, opaque tubes for 40% halves. Wheats are separated by decade, '10s go in one tube, '20s in another, etc.

Higher grade or highly collectable coins go in 2x2 cardboard flips.

I've only got a handful of slabbed coins and so far never have felt the need to submit any of my finds for TPGing.

Admittedly I've still got some stuff sitting around in ziploc bags (I've got a good chunk of Australian pre-decimal pennies I need to still need to get in tubes) and I've got some odd sized foreign silver that I need to hunt for some better sized 2x2s.

I used to keep my dimes in a Crown Royal bag till it swelled up softball size and I worry about the seams. Now I've separated them in tubes for each date/mm. Some of the later date/mm's are full, overflow go into the bag. Try to get a pic later. HH Mark

Glass cigar tubes for dimes.

As requested:

Right now I have a tad under 6,000 Roosevelt dimes. I'd have to go to every cigar store in the state to beg for the tubes.
Actually I'm working on a $1,000 face bag and store them in the bag in the safe.

The large dollar holders will work for the Australians, also crown sized in case you have any very large coins.
