The one that is star shaped could be the missing " Star of Arkansas " A diamond found at the crater of diamonds state park. If you can confirm it I will buy it from you for a dollar...d2
d2, I don't think that's a diamond. I did some quick research and it appears that this may be the stolen "Fallen Star of Mumbai". It is said to be priceless but also cursed....
Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
OP,,,
The only POSITIVE way to tell if those "stones" are diamonds is to have them tested. And "cutting glass" is FAR from a reliable test.
Glass has a "hardness of ONLY5 to 5.5 on the MOHS SCALE. VERY far from the 10 that a diamond is rated at. Mohs Hardness Test
So that leaves literally THOUSANDS of things that will "cut" or "scratch" glass.
To avoid any further doubt,, you could just buy yourself a good diamond tester.
I believe those are special Oriental Trading Diamonds. They come from Oriental Trading Co out of Nebraska. Put them in an oven at 425 degrees fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Then immediately drop them into a bowl of ice water.
