What kind of mineral is this ?

Having hard time figuring what kind of mineral is this or is this a combination of minerals combined.

Looks almost like an agate. Be nice to see a slab of it.

My gut is telling me a metasediment. (quartzite-ish?) Better pictures would help.

From my viewpoint, it appears to be reddish quartzite.
