here are three images of some more pieces that might be relevant
note : the frame with many different types....when you look at the bottom center it looks like a duncan/hanna point that was resharpened into a drillIMG_1161.webpIMG_1197.webpIMG_3228.webp

View attachment 696238OK Sohio, i see what you meant...i thought you were saying 'what good is your story about your friends point if there is no image'?
no hard feelings what so ever
but anyway i looked in my library and found the picture of the piece..i think all will agree that he made a good score, it is some nice KRF in my opinion

tis can be clicked 3 times and get a fairly good close up
he is emailing a few more images right now

Some very attractive material in that group.

Does the one you mention as being resharpened into a drill show
drill wear? It's possible that it may have been damaged in use and
now exhibits a hasty repair job allowing continued use as a projectile.

sorry i messed up and did a double post now when i tried to delete one of them both were deleted....it is my fault

anyways here is an image that martin just sent me of the duncan/hanna he found when we were hunting about 8 yrs ago

he has two others he thought would be relating to this thread for our perusalImage.webp

yup i forgot about that one cuz it's small and i don't notice it sitting there on top of the coin
one thing i might say is that it looks a bit like an Avonlea miniature point but that is just a guess?
i think it is a TRSS
