if i knew what it was i wouldn´t have asked what may be. why is hematite interesting? this is the inside.Hematite is interesting
So what do you think it might be?
Please don't say a meteorite.

you are the closest with your answer, after some googling i think it is Arkose.Imagonna say mostly quarts former sandstone metamorphosed back to almost a solid rock, over many eons.
Crush it up and you will have some nice sand. You have the power to reverse perhaps millions of years of geologic process with just a hammer![]()
that would be a pretty big bump of s**t it weighs 20 kilo. maybe a dinosaur corproliteMy Android says "Coprolite" which is fossilized feces but you just never know lol![]()

That rusty colored rock you posted I'm referring to. Look up iron hydroxide rocks or minerals.what is a type of iron hydroxide?do you mean my rock?
have you seen the photo's of a cut fragment of the rock? That rusty colored rock you posted I'm referring to. Look up iron hydroxide rocks or minerals.
HuhI The inside looks like a grainy quartzite. Not sure what the darker specks are. Maybe manganese? Describing a particular rock at times can be somewhat overwhelming, because there are so many variations. Many rocks have never been given a specific name, so you can only say its a type of whatever metamorphic, sedimentary or igneous in origin. A good thing to do is say where exactly you finds these individual rocks, so one can do a little research on the geologic makeup of the area it was found. Knowing that might give you more information on how it might be possibly formed and possibly a given name of your rock.have you seen the photo's of a cut fragment of the rock?
I found a broken rock of total weight of 45 kilo and all the photo's are of those fragments and main mass. What i know is that the rock is not very hard when i cut it and the black specks are carbon and the main mass and fragment have big veins of melted and crystalized black material in which you can observed concoidal fractures. The rock does not atract a magnet. The rock has been transported with limestone blocks to the area where i found it, so the find location is unknown. both most likely the netherlands south limburg.HuhI The inside looks like a grainy quartzite. Indeed rocks can get moved around in all kinds of un-natural ways these days by the hand of man.I found a broken rock of total weight of 45 kilo and all the photo's are of those fragments and main mass.
