Level One: You find trash and clad.
Level Two: You find clad and some wheats
Level Three: You find wheats and silver on a regular basis.
Level Four: You find Silver and pre 1800's silver/coins on a regular basis.
Level Five: You find pre 1800's silver/coins and Gold on a regular basis.

So what level are you ?? I'm a level 4...
This is just a fun idea I had. If you have a better level idea to add LETS HERE IT !!

Level 2 but that is pretty much all I hunt for mainly. here in Nebraska there is not much else to look for.

It totally depends on where I'm hunting. If I am field hunting, I dig everything above iron. If I'm park hunting I cherry pick depending on depth and tone. If its a private area or yard its also depth and tone but am more inclined to dig more items that ring in above iron. Maybe level 3.5.

Level two-point-five as well. The occasional silver still gets the Happy Dance. "Gold" in jeweley, yes. Gold coins - not so far.

If I find a coin I am in heaven. I hunt civil war relics and it seems I do a pretty poor job of late of that.
So for Relics I am a 2.5
Artifacts I do well but get tired of that.

Hmmm,

man...I'm a multi leveler.Last sunday a 1.last month a 4(2 golds..one a honker signet ring)

any given day a hero or a zero.I have been working on consistancy for years only to realise its a friggin crapshoot for me.I got a henrys rimfire cartridge on fathers day along with a cool spoon in a mining camp.

wifey and I head to my truck only to find it has no spark...was the pcm computer...7 hrs later I returned with my dually plow truck and a chain(really tough hike out)to find my wife had organised all my tools and detailed the cab.

cant even have a consistantly bad day...
