What level are you ?

I'm for sure a 3...I pretty much find Silver every time go out....alot of it is patience...If i go somewhere that i have found it in the past, i will stick around even if im digging junk on the Regs...it always pays off in the end

The best i can hope for is a 2.Once in a while a 2.5.Location to me is everything.

Interesting, but not all inclusive since I am basically a cache hunter. The cache may be coins, but usually A chest of coins or gold or silver bars.
I would consider myself a 9 level since I have found both gold and silver coins, but since I have not found the big one yet, I can't claim the 10. Frank...-

Well a lot of folks dont have the liberty of being able to find spots like yours, or maybe they dont live in old populated areas where you might find old silver and copper on a regular basis. If I knew about your spots twenty plus years ago, you would not find anything there today. Nothing. I am a level five anywhere, but I dont find 1800 silver everywhere.

We need a beach hunters level meter...we don't find old coins, mainly modern gold drops...some beach hunters find old coins on the beaches but we need a meter for modern gold drop beach hunters.

-1.... I'm a horseshoe king!!!!! I do the happy dance with ANYTHING small and round coming out of the ground. Shotgun head stamp, shell cartridge, chain link.... most anything outside of a horseshoe.

I've got a name, I don't need a number. You could give a number to the sites I hunt. I hunt sites level 1 thru 5.

I would say 3.5 this year has been pretty good for me so far. Do think you should add trash to all levels I don't know anyone that doesn't dig trash. They would be a liar if they said they didn't.

Usually I hang around level 3 but here lately been bout a 2.5!

I guess I am level 3, although I dig 1 silver coin every 3 hunts and probably 1 per 12-15 wheats.

Sometimes I just feel like am level 1 or at least feel like a know how to swing a detector and look like I know what I am doing from a neophyte's viewpoint.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'd say a level two is good but everyone should aspire to be at least a level three 3. I know for a fact you all can sooooo do it !!
