what metal detector do you use?

I can't believe there's no Shadow users out there. I loved using the old Eagle spectrum then the XLT and I love the Shadow X-5's simplicity and depth range. My vote is on the X5.

started out with a whites XLT and last fall purchased a garrett GTI 2500 and love it and this winter got the grand son a gerrett ace 250 to get him started.

Fisher F75.

Kind of a snub not to include Fisher, the FIRST detector company, in the poll. ::)

Tesoro Deleon  :coffee2:

Tesoro Cutlass II and Tesoro Toltec 100 with more hours on it that I can count!

I have a couple old bounty hunters, I use a Garrett ultra GTA1000 now and soon to have a Fisher F- 70 that is being delivered

Land: Teknetics T2 - great relic machine
Beach: Minelab Explorer XS - still chugging a long just fine...

I use a whites mxt for relic and a whites classic 5 id for coin shooting

I have a Garrett Grand Master Hunter which was given to me in very beat up and poor condition. I was able to get it working and it has turned out to be a great MD.

Depends upon what I need it for. (See detectors at the left).
Looking for brass / lead at a crime scene ---- Tesoro Compadre or LST
Coins & Jewelry in a park or school yard ---- White's DFX-300, XLT or my ol' standby Eagle II SL
(If there's lots of electrical interference / radio traffic (airport nearby) the DFX is nearly useless.)
Prospecting ---- Minelab GP3500 / Tesoro Lobo SuperTrac (LST)

One that says beep beep.

Garrett Scorpion. I'm going to get the GTI2500, Infium, and I'm also looking at Whites and maybe Minelab soon after that.

I minly use the Whites as I have 3 of them...Matt

Garrett 2500 Gti

I am using a Whites MXT. I haven't had a chance to try out any others yet.
