Why didn't you ask in the thread on the watermelon patch?

I love wallermelon.

Hollyloki, I could be wrong here but I believe it's just a watermelon patch down south that a couple of friends IRL/on Tnet have a permission for and it yields some really nice finds.

It is just a watermelon patch that is being hunted....

LOL, why couldn't you have just answered that to start with??

I meant to below comment I posted but hit send and didn't realize I hadn't typed it till I read my post later.....

Don't lettum fool ya.it is code for a place them guys down there go to let off a little steam before a hunt.Sorry fellas she made me talk.

I used to love watermelon. Now it isn't worth the mess lol. I love a nice soft, red apple now.
watermelon's good.Have you ever tried a spiked watermelon?

I use to ask my parents if I could have a watermelon instead of cake for my birthday.
Yummmm!

It's where Charlie Brown waits for The Great Watermelon to appear every Halloween.

It's a mythical place where anything can happen.... Mostly a place to boast about or cuss up a storm to relieve stress :dontknow:

I like bananas but sometimes they don't agree with me. We will argue back and forth for a couple days but the banana usually wins.

Thank you for asking that question...

However, there are so many blond women on TN, it would take pages and pages to repeat the answer...:laughing7:

The ole watermelon patch. I've been there with uncle Cletus on three different occasions. It's just a field where he and aunt Eunice grow produce. This year I think he said they're growing peanuts

I believe there was free food for many family members.

I've read numerous threads about this watermelon patch. I have tried to no avail to figure out what it means on my own. Fail. Help this blonde out. I just want to understand what I'm reading.

Forgive them all. Late winter craziness has set in and post responses get a little strange at times.

We had a Farmer who was losing watermelons to school boys so he put up a sign that read "One of these watermelons is laced with rat poison". The next day the Farmer went to his patch and lo and behold the sign had been changed to read "Now two of these watermelons have been laced with rat poison"

It is the "sweet spot or patch" where good things are found.
