Would anyone happen to know the time period of that attire?

Also what kind of glaze or what kind of ceramic this is?

Possibly 1800's transfer ware, my guess is mid to late 1800'S.....Joe McDonough

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Nice. Yes, that will be transfer-ware from the second half of the 1800s and there are lots of different designs, although the garb of the people depicted isn’t always necessarily always completely contemporary with when the plate was made. It’s almost certainly Staffordshire-ware from England, but these plates are regarded as ‘generic’ since they rarely have a maker mark.

They’re known as “alphabet plates” or “nursery plates” (even though the depictions often seem more appropriate for a grown-up audience). Note the embossed letters from A-Z around the rim. I haven’t seen the ‘hammock’ design before but here’s one to a similar pattern with a different depiction, for which the asking price is probably in the right ballpark:
