I have several (100+) pre 55' nickels and I was just wondering if any of them have a premium on them? Are there any semi key dates that I.should know about? Or should I just hold on to them?

Any and all feedback is welcome.

1950d any silver war nickels. Personally I think holding on to the pre 55' nickels is costly and I would say if you didn't hold on to them, I wouldn't blame ya.

I hold on to [1938, 1939(Both with/without mintmarks], 1950D, and war nickels. :-)

There was some guy here who said he would sell them at his local coin club auctions. I was skeptical, until I tried it myself. Sure enough, there's some (small) demand.

dawg I'd just toss them back

I'm thinking about just rollin' em back into rolls and list em on EBay with a silver ender to see how that goes.

Don't be that guy. If you're going to be that guy, a least don't brag about it here...

Sadly enough, there are a few on here that would buy it LOL

I keep them, then once I get a lot together (around 20-30 bucks) I buy silver. It is just like a savings account for me and you don't have to put much money into it. I haven't done it in a while because I don't like searching nickels anymore.

Gave up on it. Cashing them in.
