What useful items have you dug up?

Small antique crocks and cottage cheese jars as pencil holders, and I've dug more than a few brass hitter-pipes that my longhair friends say work as good as new! :laughing7:

I think I found one of those last year, took me forever to figure out what it was

Double blade axe.

Dug this 30 years back. It was dark tarnished at the time but not an old loss....but it did make for a handy key holder ever since.....and it has gotten a lot shinier.

I have found lots of useful things.
This gold ring is one of the few I kept for myself.

Earphones, I have come across a few.

Plus an adapter plug...still works.

Knives, they seem to be everywhere and some are in pretty great shape.

Lighters are always useful, I have found a lot of empty Bics and other cheap lighters but I have found a lot that still had juice in them.
I have also found some great other great lighters, a treasure I just love to find.
This is a cheap one that is popular and it still lit when I found it.

This one is a Zippo that I will eventually send in, they will get it working for me again.

Here is probably the oddest but still coolest useful item I dug up.
It was in a park so I was surprised when it popped up. but the area once had houses at one time.
This is an old, brass, nautical letter opener.
Looks great after I cleaned it and it looks great even though bent a little and I am leaving it that way because I think it gives it character".
